Artist Statement

The cherry blossoms are such a wonderful sight in the spring! This cherry tree lives across the fence in my neighbour’s yard, but I have a wonderful view of it from my kitchen window. I have included 2 other photos of the painting in progress. As well, there are 2 smaller paintings that were done as sort of a series along with this painting – ‘Spring Cherries’, and ‘More Cherries’.
